When DFA Mandla’s Sub-Junior Girls clinched the Madhya Pradesh Inter-District Championship in Indore, it wasn’t just a sporting win; it was a statement. That victory opened the doors for 10 of our girls to join the State Camp. From there, 8 earned their place in the Madhya Pradesh squad for the Sub-Junior Nationals in Assam. And this year, for the first time, Madhya Pradesh will compete in the Tier 1 Nationals — a path made possible because last year our girls created history by winning the Tier 2 Nationals. Think about it: a single rural district not only powering nearly an entire state team, but also helping elevate Madhya Pradesh to the highest competitive stage. This is grassroots excellence. Not a one-off medal, but a steady pipeline of talent nurtured by families, coaches, and Mrida’s belief in possibility.
Following the championship, 10 players from Mandla were selected for the National Camp, out of which 8 secured a place in the Madhya Pradesh squad for the Sub-Junior National Football Championship, held in Assam from 20th August.
The selected players were
- Madhuri Vishvkarma
- Gyanvati Yadav
- Khushbu Panariya
- Suranjana Bhartiya
- Manisha Uikey
- Priyanka Marko
- Rajni Dhurwey
- Nandani Parte
