Standout Performances
2023 November Chronicles of Mrida
In a remarkable display of skill and determination, our youth football team showcased exceptional growth at the 62nd Subroto Mukherjee Cup, despite the challenge of competing in the under-17 age group with an average age of 14.5. The players exhibited superior technical prowess, unparalleled on-and-off-the-ball movement, and a commitment to our attacking philosophy.
Standout performances from players like Somni, Pooja, and Ambika, coupled with exceptional displays by Manisha and Captain Akansha Narte in the first match, contributed to a fantastic overall team experience. As we address identified weaknesses and nurture our attacking instincts, the team is poised for future success, setting their sights on conquering the competition in the upcoming year. The Subroto Cup has laid the foundation for a promising journey ahead

This initiative will create 5 zones and 5 mini-grounds, hosting 350+ matches over four months. But it doesn’t stop there! After the league, we’ll provide training, scholarships, and camps to help these young stars shine even brighter. Our program is all-inclusive, welcoming both girls and boys, and we’re proud to say that village-level bodies are already championing football in 30 villages.
