Friends of Mrida- Be a part of our story
The Need
To build institutions for the direct service delivery model to provide education and sports facilities for children, and livelihood opportunities and employment pathways for youth in the Mahakaushal region. To bring a change and uplift the tribal communities and create a lasting positive impact in the impoverished rural regions in India.
The Social Impact Collaborators
Professionals from across organizations who are motivated to support the humanitarian initiatives to give back to the society and be part of Mrida’s changemaker community. Rural Development in Partnership with Professionals (RDPP) is a LinkedIn group formed to bring together professionals to engage in a dialogue to find solutions to the challenges of the impoverished rural regions in India.
Objective of this Group
Rural Development in Partnership with Professionals (RDPP) is a group created for individuals connected to a common cause of community service as way to give back to the society. RDPP will enable the grassroots level change makers to build and scale impactful education, nutrition, and livelihood practices for school-going children in tribal belts and demonstrate an environment of love and care for the child.

Internship
I feel grateful to Mrida for giving me an opportunity to work for the underprivileged students in Mandla, Madhya Pradesh. It has been only a month since I joined but I have already come across various challenges these students are facing in this pandemic. Our work is highly focussed and structured in providing digital classrooms so that the gap in education can be bridged. The vision and mission of the leadership team at Mrida are very clear and they are leaving no stone unturned in fulfilling it. I will cherish this experience for a long time and looking forward to creating an impact for the betterment of these kids.

My brief volunteer experience at Riverside Natural School was not only enriching but truly inspiring. The visionary founders are cognizant of the needs of the world and striving to provide holistic education. However, at the same time they are ensuring that there is no disconnect with the background of the children they are catering to and are preparing them to address real life challenges prevalent in their context. The commitment of the founders and dedication of the teachers and staff are contagious.
