What is FCRA?

The Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA) is a regulatory framework implemented by the Government of India to ensure that foreign contributions are utilized for bona fide activities without compromising national security. It is mandatory for any organization that wishes to receive foreign donations to obtain FCRA registration.
